“My passion for real estate and community has granted me the opportunity to have the best two things in life… a career and relationships.”
Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Pablo Velasco is a well-informed, knowledgeable supporter of the local community.
Pablo’s enthusiasm for properties stems back to childhood when he used to ride along with his dad looking for real estate to buy and invest in. He bought his first investment property while he was in college and became an example to his peers that anything is possible. Pablo believes that these outings with his father are what first gave him a foundation for wanting to invest in the community.
After graduating with his BS in finance, Pablo earned an MBA in finance. This helped increase his business knowledge, develop excellent contacts, and solidify his love for and dedication to the real estate industry.
Pablo has also learned the delicate art of deal-making exceptionally well, and is passionate about structuring various deal transactions, from lender or seller financing to complex joint ventures. This is truly beneficial for the serious real estate client looking to buy, sell, or invest in residential or commercial real estate. But Pablo is not just all business.
Pablo is also passionate about giving back to the community. From educating first-time home-buyers, to teaching business basics in orphanages in Thailand and Mexico, or helping women entrepreneurs in Peru launch their businesses; Pablo understands the value in empowering others through education. He believes in helping create a brighter and wiser tomorrow for all of us. “There is a certain joy in helping the community without the need for a return,” he says, “although, I always seem to get back more than what I gave.”
Not only has he given back to help people in other countries, but he continues to seek ways to give back to the communities he is involved in through his career. In addition to teaching first-time home-buyers, he is also active in local community organizations, particularly those that seek to preserve or restore natural and historic assets, but also those that help pass a vision of investing into youth communities – the leaders of tomorrow. “As a kid I learned that whether it’s painting a building, fixing a street, or doing some landscaping, a community is defined not only by its people, but by its real estate. That’s why I want to help young people be aware of their environment and to be involved. It increases the value of the entire community,” he says.
